AJ Rudd
Hello! My name is AJ Rudd, and I am currently a Graduate student at Univeristy of Maryland, in the HCIM program. I obtained my Bachelor's degree at UMD as well in studio art, with an emphasis on sculpture. For as long as I can remember I have been interested in understanding how human beings interact with the world around them. During my undergrad I began narrowing my focus to how humans interact with technology, which has been carried into my time in grad school. Being that I have worked in special education for the past 5 years and have been volunteering with special needs children since I was in Elementary school, I have a vested interest in accessibility research and inclusion. Currently my areas of focus are immersion technologies, such as XR, coupled with education and accessibility.
